A native of Alexandria, Louisiana. Thomas Cicardo is a graduate of the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia and the LSU Law Enforcement Institute in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He served for thirty-years with the police department, retiring as Chief of Police in 2003.
He lives with his wife Carolyn Lounsberry, their German Shepherd "Bear" and Jinksey the cat, in Central Louisiana. He's writing full time and they're renovating an old two story home built in the 20's.
Married in 1971 and blessed with three children.

Eric was called to heaven April 21, 2007.
